Wow, for a first shift, this was a real eyeopener!! first, 12 hours is LOOOONNNGG!! Second you just never know who is going to need the services provided, awkward at first, but it got better as the day wore on. I read policies and manuals for most of the day. I also baked biscuits, cooked soup and read books to a six year old. very decent day:)
