Great Blog Post Christine! Its great to see more and more support for the campaign to increase education funding, reduce tuition fees and drop student debt. All should check out www.educationisaright.ca for more information about the Feb 1 National day of student action.

Tuition fees at NWCC have doubled since 2001 and NWCC charges the second highest ancillary fees and fees for CCP(ABE) in the province. Debt has much more to do with the things listed above than responsible budgeting by students. Its the government that has to take a better look at its budget, the downloading of costs onto students has to end if we want debt levels upon graduation to be reduced.

To get involved come by the students' union office on your campus or contact the SU thru www.nwccsu.ca
