Todd Henry explains how the Earth Tub works to Acting President Cathay Sousa and Board Secretary and Assistant to the President's Office, Laurel Payjack-Mohler.
A few brave souls grabbed their raingear and marched through puddles to attend the official unveiling of Earth Tub today during the NWCC Green Fair, which takes place this weekend at the Terrace Campus. The Earth Tub was purchased and installed by a partnership of the City of Terrace, the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine (RDKS), Northwest Community College and the BC Winter Games Society.
Todd Henry explained that the Earth Tub, made by Green Mountain Technologies, holds 3 cubic yards of biomass and the finished compost is used on NWCC's gardens.
This unveiling is part of NWCC's Green Fair, which takes place this weekend at the Terrace Campus from 10-4 on September 24 & 25th.

Earth tub is one way of executing the love and care for environment. Such kind of activities should be supported.
